About UK Hoop Gathering Project
UKHG runs summer weekend hoop-dance retreats in the English countryside, where participants live, eat and play communally over 3 days. Some of the best hoopers in the world come to teach every year, and as well as hooping workshops we offer alternative workshops like 5 Rhythms dancing or burlesque - as well as use of the sauna, and delicious healthy food all weekend long.

Gems of UKHG has performed fire-hooping, LED glow hooping and multiple hooping professionally for 3 years, in places as far away as Thailand and Egypt. She is available to book for festival performances, weddings, parties, club nights or any other event which requires dance and a high visual impact!

UK Hoop Gathering can bring hoop and circus skills workshops to any festival, event or party. We bring all the equipment needed and run fun-filled free-play sessions or more structured 'trick learning' workshops for adults and children as required.

Gems runs regular hoop classes in and around Liverpool / Manchester, as well as 6 week hoop courses for both beginner and intermediate/advanced hoopers.

Gems of UKHG has taught hooping and hoop dance extensively across the UK, Europe and Asia. She teaches 'training' hoop workshops periodically in the UK - such as 'Trick Intensives', 'Progression Training', and 'How to Create a Hoop Act' for those who are already hoopers and have an existing skill base.
